Brake caliper adapter to use the Audi RS6 C8 ceramic brake system on the rear axle of the Audi RS4 B9.
Advantages of this braking system:
- Top deceleration values, no comparison to conventional rear brake discs
- Significantly improved fading thanks to internally ventilated discs
- A must for performance improvements
- The material certificate included in the delivery enables registration by individual acceptance even for series vehicles.
Required components:
- Brake calipers from the Audi RS6 C8, part number left: 4M8615403QC8 / right: 4M8615404QC8
- Brake caliper carrier, part number: left: 4M8615425QC8 / right: 4M8615426QC8
- Ceramic brake discs from the Audi RS6 C8 370x32mm, part number: 4K0615301AJ
Tips, information and notes:
For better ventilation of the braking system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
For easy installation of the rim, we recommend buying two of our wheel installation aids at the same time >> go directly to the article here<<
We cannot give a general answer as to which rim size you can drive after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, it can happen that the rims are only slightly in contact with the brake calliper, in which case wheel spacers can simply be used. >> Now go directly to wheel spacers as desired <<
Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit. We recommend switching to steel braided lines due to their significantly better efficiency. We have developed a steel braided configurator specifically for this function, where you can put them together according to your wishes and then lay them. Click here for the steel braided configurator >> Configure steel braided brake line <<
The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed caliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may need to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original caliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may need to route it in a more direct way to compensate for the larger disc diameter and the longer path
