For better ventilation of the braking system, we recommend removing the brake dust shields/anchor plates.
We cannot give a general answer on which wheel size you can use after your brake conversion, as there are simply too many different wheels. In rare cases, the wheels may slightly touch the brake caliper, in which case spacers can be used. >> Go directly to wheel spacers of your choice <<.
When installing the adapter with the necessary components, you should check whether new brake lines are needed. Depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or may not fit properly. We recommend switching to steel braided brake lines for a significantly better performance. The handbrake cable must always be used with the installed caliper, meaning the new handbrake cable may need to be adjusted slightly. For conversions where the original caliper is reused and the original handbrake cable can be used, it may be necessary to route the cable more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel.
