Brake caliper adapter to convert the T3 BUS to ventilated 312×25 brake discs with Audi A6 calipers

The wheel hubs supplied retain the standard VW bolt pattern and are identical to the original dimensions. This means that the wheel bearings can continue to be used and the track is only 6 mm wider on each side.
Required material for installation:
- Brake discs 312×25 mm Audi A4 quattro, Audi A6 e.g. 4B0 615 301 A
- Brake calipers Audi 100 / A6 C4 Girling / ATE 57 Part No: 4A0615123A / 4A0615124A (left, right)
- Brake caliper brackets that were installed with the 288 brake system.(are required because of the shorter design of the holder Part number: 3B0615125
- At least 16 inch rims should be used
Advice:
This adapter is for all T3 buses built after 1986. Yours before 1986 require the >> adapter with article no. 466 <<
Scope of delivery:
- 2 high resistant adapter-plates
- 2x matching centering rings
- Certificate of material
- Complete set of high resistant srews
- 2x wheel hub for installation on front axle.
- Copy of the german document ‘Fahrzeugschein’ (equivalent with the English vehicle registration card). Proves the conformity of our product in Germany and simplifies authorization by authorities.

Here is an installation video from our customer, the steering knuckle is lightly machined as it is built before 1986, nothing needs to be machined on steering knuckles built after 1986, and a different brake caliper is used, hence the light machining:
Tips, information and hints:
- Important: Only fit for wheel bearing housings from year of construction 1986. This is easy to check, if the original brake caliper was attached with M16 screws, this adapter is suitable.
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can generally not answer, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers. >> Now directly to spacers <<
- Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage.
