Brake caliper adapter with tailor-made wheel hub for rear axle brake system.For fixation of brake discs diameter 280mm from G60 VR6 GTI 16V normally used on front axle in combination with standard brake calipers from Golf 4 V6/R32 or Audi S3 8L year 99.

There are 2 different installation positions for the brake caliper adapter, depending on which brake disc is installed.

Technical information:
The 280 mm brake discs are centered and screwed on with our wheel hub (available in 4 and 5 holes depending on the model). The track widens by about 6-8mm per side. The wheel hubs are identical to the originals on the inside of the bearing. The original wheel bearings can therefore continue to be used.
Suitable for the front axle, we offer you brake caliper adapters for conversion to the Porsche brake system in connection with the R32 brake disc. Look in our shop.

- Brake caliper left VW part number 8N0615423C, brake caliper right VW part number 8N0615424C, brake caliper bracket VW part number 8N0 615 425 B or painted in blue from the R32: 1J0 615 425 F.
- Brake disc:
- if 5 holes are driven: Golf 3 VR6 brake disc 280x22mm VW part number 1H0615301A pot depth 29mm
- when driving 4 holes: Golf 2 G60 brake disc 280x22mm VW part number 535615301 pot depth 40mm

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
