Brake caliper adapter, rear axle, in models Golf MK5 MK6 Audi A3 with steel axl, for conversion to Porsche Cayenne brake caliper, combined with the Golf MK5 R brake disc 310×22 mm.
The Porsche calipers are connected to the hydraulics of the vehicle and can thus develop an enormous braking force. Since these have no handbrake functions, the rear Golf MK5 R is also used as a hand brake caliper adapter. The hydraulic connection is thereby closed with a blind plug / closure cap, thus this serves only as a hand brake caliper.

- brake disc: original Golf 5 R 310×22 mm , reference 1K0 615 601 N
- In the all-wheel drive models, the ABS sensor must be changed because the Cayenne brake caliper is there
Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
