Tips, Information, and Advice:
- For better brake ventilation, we recommend removing the brake dust/anchor plates.
- To simplify wheel installation, consider purchasing two wheel mounting aids (link to product provided).
- We cannot give a universal answer on which rim size will fit after the brake conversion, as it varies with different rims. To help, we’ve developed a template to check if the brake kit fits under your rims (link to template included). If the rims don’t fit, you can use wheel spacers (link to spacers provided).
- After installation, check if new brake lines are needed, as the original lines may be too short or not fit properly. We recommend switching to steel braided lines for better performance. Use our configurator to build and install the appropriate steel flex lines (link to configurator provided).
- The handbrake cable may require slight adjustment when fitting the new caliper. If the original caliper is retained, you may need to reroute the cable to accommodate the larger disc diameter and travel.
