Brake caliper adapter with special plates including Porsche 5×130 PCD to install floating brake caliper of Porsche 944 onto VW Bettle with drum brake and axle leg (YoC: 1965-1968).

Required components:
- floating brake caliper from Porsche 944
- brake discs from Porsche 944  2,7 l  282,5×20,5mm Porsche reference: 944 351 951 02
- wheel bearing from VW Bettle,  OE: 311 405 625, 311 405 645
- For the wheel hubs the grease caps of the Porsche 944 can be used.
- Shaft sealing ring / Simmerring are taken over from the original Beetle.

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
