Seat Ibiza 6L VW Polo 9N Audi A1 Adapter Porsche brake caliper rear axle

Brake caliper adapter to use the rear calipers from the Porsche 996 in combination with the front 280 mm G60 VR6 GTI 16V brake discs on the rear axle.

The adapters are suitable for the following models:

• Ibiza 6L
• Polo 9N
• Audi A1

Advantages of this brake system:

• Excellent deceleration values! No comparison to the conventional rear brake discs
• A must when increasing performance
• Material certificate is included
• Easily reversible to the original state

Technical details:

• The brake caliper adapters are mounted between the axle body and axle stub. The longer bolts needed for this are included in the delivery.
• The track width increases by about 16 mm per side.
• Not approved for use on public roads. However, with the material certificate provided, an individual registration can be obtained, even for standard vehicles.

For vehicles with ABS, the ABS can still be used.

Tips, information, and advice:

• To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

• We cannot provide a generalized answer regarding which rim size you can use after the brake conversion as there are too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template to check if the brake system fits under your rim. A link to the template is included in the description. • Install the adapter with the required components and check if new brake lines are needed, as the old ones may be too short or incompatible. • The handbrake cable from the installed caliper must always be used, meaning that the new handbrake cable may need to be slightly adjusted. For conversions where the original caliper and handbrake cable are used, you may need to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel.
• Please note that our products are designed for racing and motorsport use. Use on public roads generally requires individual approval according to § 21 StVZO by an officially recognized expert.
