Brake caliper adapter for rear axle brake system to fix brake discs type S6 4f diameter 330x22mm in combination with Vw/Audi standard brake calipers. Tailor-made for Audi /VW vehicles with front-wheel drive and serial brake discs type 256x22mm. Construction year: From ’96 on as:

  • AUDI A6 (4B, C5)
  • AUDI A6 Avant (4B, C5)
  • VW Passat (3B + 3BG )
  • VW Passat Variant (3B + 3BG )
  • Skoda Superb (3U4)

Required material for installation:

  • Passat 3BG Audi S4 B5 brake calipers Lucas Girling 54 (Originally they’re mounted with 256 x22 mm brake discs)
  • Brake discs typ S6 4f 330×22 mm OE-VAG no: 4F0 615 601 F (ATE Nr: 24.0122-0223.1 )

Tips, information and hints:

  • For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
  • We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
  • In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers. >> Now directly to spacers <<
  • Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not be suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage.   • Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.
