Brake calipet adapter, front axle, on models Mercedes Benz E63 W212 and CLS63 W218, for conversion to the Mercedes Benz Ceramic brake discs 402×39, combined with the Mercedes Benz 6-piston W205, W213, C190 brake calipers.zu.

Since the original Mercedes brake caliper bracket is not available for purchase individually, but only in conjunction with the 6-piston calipers, we have developed this adapter..

Required components:

  • brake caliper: Mercedes W197 SLS W205 C63 AMG 6-piston, reference A204 421 99 98 and A204 421 97 98 or 2124219798 and 2124219998
  • brake disc: ceramic brake disc from Mercedes CLS 63, 402x39mm, front axle,  reference : 231 421 15 12 / 231 421 16 12

Tips, information and hints:

  • For better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

  • We cannot give a general answer as to which rim size you can use after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, the rim may only be slightly in contact with the brake calliper, in which case wheel spacers can simply be used. >> Now go directly to wheel spacers as required <<
  • Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit. We recommend switching to steel braided lines because of their significantly better efficiency.
