Tip:

If you don’t have the brake caliper carrier and brake calipers yet, we have the perfect solution for you here article APA274 (click here).
The brake caliper carriers were developed in such a way that you no longer have to install an adapter to install the G60 system on your vehicle.
You can mount the brake calipers and brake caliper brackets directly on your vehicle.

What is the difference between item number 216 and 142′

The hole dimensions of the two tuning adapters are identical. We recommend always to install the article 216, because it is more stable. The tuning adapter 142 we have developed for the VW Polo axle, since this is slightly different in shape and the tuning adapter 216 can not be installed.

Tips, information and advice:

  • To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
  • For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
  • We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. If your rim does not fit, you can simply use wheel spacers. >> Go directly to customised wheel spacers <<
  • Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. We have developed a steel braided line configurator especially for this function, which you can use to assemble and then install them according to your requirements. Click here for the steel flex configurator >> Configure steel flex brake line <<
  • The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
