This is probably the best alternative to our PCD adapters, because the track does not become wider.
Suitable for all:
- Golf 1
- Golf 1 Cabrio
- Jetta I
- Scirocco 53B
- Caddy14d (only in connection with our adapter plates item 597 for the rear axle)
Advantages:
- no PCD adapter necessary
- directly to use. No drilling of the brake discs.
- wheel arches do not necessarily have to be pulled (of course depending on the width of the rim)
Tips, information and hints:
- For better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>click here to go directly to the article<<
- We cannot give a general answer as to which rim size you can use after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, the rim may only be slightly in contact with the brake calliper, in which case wheel spacers can simply be used. >> Now go directly to wheel spacers as required <<
- Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit. We recommend switching to steel braided lines because of their significantly better efficiency. We have developed a steel braided configurator specifically for this purpose, where you can put them together according to your wishes and then lay them.
