Brake caliper adapter to use the rear brake calipers of the VW T5, T6 bus in conjunction with the Audi A4, A6 300x22mm brake discs on the rear axle of the VW T3 bus.

For better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

We cannot give a general answer as to which rim size you can use after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, the rim may only be slightly in contact with the brake calliper, in which case wheel spacers can simply be used. >> Now go directly to wheel spacers as required <<
Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit. We recommend switching to steel braided lines because of their significantly better efficiency. The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed caliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may need to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original caliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it in a more direct way to compensate for the larger disc diameter and the longer path.
