Tips, information, and advice:
- To improve the ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the brake dust covers and anchor plates.
- For easier wheel mounting, we suggest purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids >>direct link to the product<<
- We cannot give a general answer regarding rim size after the brake conversion, as there are too many different rim designs. That’s why we’ve developed a fitment template to help you check whether the brake system fits under your rim. A link to the template is provided in the product description. If your rim does not fit, wheel spacers can be used >>Go directly to customized wheel spacers<<
- After installing the adapter with the required components, check whether new brake lines are necessary, as the existing lines may be too short or not compatible. Due to improved efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. We’ve developed a steel braided line configurator, allowing you to customize your lines to your specifications. >>Click here for the steel braided brake line configurator<<
- The handbrake cable must be adapted from the installed caliper. If the original caliper and handbrake cable are reused, the cable routing may need to be adjusted to accommodate the larger disc diameter and increased travel.
Please note: Our products are designed for racing and motorsport purposes. Use on public roads typically requires individual approval in accordance with § 21 StVZO by a certified expert. Further information can be found through TÜV Süd. For individual approval, we will provide an expert opinion or material certificate if available.
