Brake caliper adapter, VW T3 Bus to convert to front 4-piston Porsche Boxter brake caliper, combined with the 312x28mm Mercedes brake disc. Our adapter kit works with or without ABS.
Furthermore, the price-performance ratio of the Porsche calipers, as well as the Mercedes discs (the pair allready from 130 € from Zimmerman) is right.
Required components:
- special wheel hubs, front axle (EPYTEC item number 341). A complete kit is available in our shop, item number 276
- rims: at least 16 inch
- brake caliper: Porsche Boxter , reference 996.351.426 + 996.351.425 (only 100% suitable for the mentioned Porsche calipers)
- brake disc: Mercedes S-Klasse 312×28 , reference 220 421 09 12
- rims: at least 16 inch

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
