Brake Caliper Adapter for Rear Axle Conversion on VW T5 and T6 Transporter to Audi A6 356×22 Brake Discs

Required Components:

• Brake disc: Audi A6 356x22mm (reference 4H0 615 601 F). Note: The bolt/pitch circle must be changed to 5×120, and the hub bore to 76.0mm (service available).
• Brake calipers: VW T5/T6 Bus part numbers: 7H0 615 423 / 7H0 615 424
• Brake caliper carrier: VW T5/T6 Bus part number: 7H0 615 425

Tips, Information, and Advice:

• For improved brake system ventilation, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
• For easier rim mounting, consider purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids.
• Rim size compatibility post-conversion varies; use our provided template to check fitment. If needed, wheel spacers are available.
• After installing the adapter, check if new brake lines are necessary. Depending on the model, the old lines may be too short or the connection may not fit. We recommend upgrading to steel braided lines for better efficiency. Use our steel braided line configurator to create and install custom lines.
• The handbrake cable from the installed caliper must always be used, which may require slight adjustments. If using the original caliper and handbrake cable, you may need to route the cable more directly to accommodate the larger disc diameter and increased travel.
