Brake caliper adapter, front axle, on models Audi A6 C5 for conversion to Audi R8 / VW Phaeton brake system with the 8-piston Brembo brake caliper, combined with the 365x34mm brake discs.

  • Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines.   • The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
