Brake caliper adapter to convert the rear axle of the Golf 5, 6, Audi A1, A3 series to Porsche Cayenne brake calipers.
The combination is installed in conjunction with the Audi A6 A7 brake discs 356×22 mm.
The Porsche calipers are connected to the vehicle’s hydraulics and can therefore develop enormous braking power. However, as these do not have any handbrake functions, the rear Golf 5R is also used as a handbrake caliper. The hydraulic connection is sealed with a dummy plug. This means that it only serves as a handbrake caliper.
Adapters are suitable for the following VW and Audi models with aluminium axle:
OE 1K0505433/ 1K0505434 / 1K0505435AD / 1K0505436AD
- Audi A1 (8X)
- Audi A3 (8P)
- VW Golf V (1K)
- VW Golf VI (5K)
- VW Golf Variant V (1K)
- VW Golf Variant VI (5K)
- Seat Altea (5P)
- Skoda Octavia (1Z)
- Skoda Octavia (5E)
- Skoda Superb (3T)
Advantages of this brake system:
- Top deceleration values, no comparison to conventional rear brake discs
- A must for performance upgrades
- Material certificate is supplied
Required components:
- Brembo brake calipers from Porsche Cayenne rear axle part no.: (written on the brake calipers, rear number distinguishes right and left caliper) 955.352.421 + 955.352.422 (only 100% compatible with the specified Porsche calipers) Brembo left: 20.7673.03 right: 20.7673.04
- Original brake calipers with carrier for handbrake from Golf 5R / 6R Part number: 1K0615423G / 1K0615424G Carrier: 1K0615426H / 1K0615425H

Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. If your rim does not fit, you can simply use wheel spacers. >> Go directly to customised wheel spacers <<
- Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. We have developed a steel braided line configurator especially for this function, which you can use to assemble and then install them according to your requirements. Click here for the steel flex configurator >> Configure steel flex brake line <<
- The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel
