Brake caliper adapter , front axle, on models BMW E46 M3  for conveersion to the large BMW E46 M3 CSL brake discs, 345×28 mm, combined with brake caliper from Porsche 996.

Suitable for all M3 E46 models, without modifications. This brake system can also be fitted to all other E46 models. Only important is the conversion on axle pin / stub  or wheel hub from M3 E46.

  • thanks to the material certificate supplied with the order, it is possible to register your purchase even for series vehicles
  • directly fit to the above-mentioned models and therefore can always be restored to the original state without any problems

Required components:

  • brake caliper: Porsche 996, reference 996.351.425 + 996.351.426
  • brake disc: BMW E46 M3 CSL  345x28mm (front axle) , reference 34 11 2 282 445
  • The brake caliper must be milled off approx. 5.5mm on the contact surface.

Rinms: at least 19 inch.

 

Tips, information and hints:

  • For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
  • We can generally not answer, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
  • In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers. >> Now directly to spacers <<
  • Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage.
