Brake caliper adapter for the front axle of the BMW E30 for mounting the large brake system of the BMW E34 540i in conjunction with the Audi S3 brake disc in 312 x 25mm.

Required components:

  • BMW E34 540i brake calipers with bracket and brake pads
  • Brake discs from Audi S3 (8L) /Golf 4 GTI 312x25mm Part No. 8N0 615 301 A
  • The brake discs must be re-drilled to the BMW bolt circle 4×100. This can be done in-house.

Tips, information and hints:

  • For better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.

  • We cannot give a general answer as to which rim size you can use after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims. In rare cases, it can happen that the rims are only slightly in contact with the brake calliper, in which case wheel spacers can simply be used. >> Now directly to wheel spacers as desired <<
  • Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as depending on the model, the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit. We recommend switching to steel braided lines because of their significantly better efficiency.
